Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) is a clear, colorless, viscous liquid soluble in water. Liquid PEG are soluble in acetone, alcohols, benzene, glycerin, and glycols. Solid PEG are soluble in acetone, dichloromethane, ethanol (95%), and methanol; they are slightly soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and ether but insoluble in fats, fixed oils, and mineral oil. […]

DiEthanolAmine (DEA)
CAS:111-42-2
Diethanolamine is a secondary amine and a diol with molecular formula C4H11NO2. At room temperature diethanolamine is a white solid, but as its hygroscopic it’s often encountered as a colorless, viscous liquid.

DiEthanolAmine Chemical Structure Composition.
Production
Diethanolamine is produced by reacting ethylene oxide with aqueous ammonia.
This reaction produce diethanolamine as well as monoethanolamine and triethanolamine.
The ratio of each product can be controlled by the ratio of the reactants.
Uses
Diethanolamine is mainly used as a surfactant, corrosion inhibitor and in oil-field chemicals to remove hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from natural gas.
Arpadis is one of the largest chemical distributor in Europe.
Arpadis is handling the storage, transport, export & import formalities of DiEthanolAmine globally.
